Premier League weekend bets

Gonna go through my premier league picks for the weekend. Please note i’m relatively new to Premier league and soccer in general. So i’m not gonna have much reasoning if any behind my picks. Lets get started

Leicester city -125 vs Leeds

There’s a few things i know about this game. First, from my understanding James Vardy is very talented. Watching Leicester city against Man City it seemed he was the guy they needed to stop and still had difficulty doing so. Second, An american now coaches Leeds. Jesse Marsch will definitely get me watching Leeds in the future and I’ll for sure support him, but today they probably wont get the win. Third, Leeds is fighting against regulation, which is something i wish some american sports had. That should give Leeds a reason to fight so i may consider betting a draw for +320.

Chelsea -1.5 (+155) vs Burnley

Not really much to say other than a top 3 team vs a bottom 3 team. Also added Christian Pulisic 1st to score at +500. Gotta support the american.

Liverpool -1.5 (-120) vs West Ham

I know they are a top 2 team and i’m mostly looking for a reason to watch them, which is also why i’m betting on soccer in general.

Manchester City -1.5 (+105) vs Manchester United

Big rivalry matchup on sunday. Man city being my favorite team i’m gonna go with them. With the moneyline at -245, I had to go with the spread to make it worth it.

Thanks for following my in depth knowledge of soccer ,sarcasm. Please continue to follow along with me.

Friday 3/4/22 gambling picks

2-1 on my Thursday picks, time to jump into some Friday games

Bradley +5.5(-105) @ Loyola Chicago

Bradley won 68-61 at home last time they played. Playing at a neutral site for the Missouri valley conference tournament, the game should be close. Loyola’s gonna want that previous game back but i don’t think they’re gonna get it. Also taking a look at the under at 131 points.

Milwaukee Bucks -3(-110) @ Chicago Bulls

Seems like a no brainer at first glance but the Bulls have a record of 39-23. Even still hard to bet against a superstar like Giannis Antetokounmpo, definitely had to google how to spell his name.

Philadelphia 76ers -7.5(-110) vs Cleveland Cavaliers

76ers have been playing well since getting Harden. I also hate Cleveland teams so i may be a bit biased. That being said Cleveland hasn’t covered in their past 6 games and it’ll be hard to do against a healthy 76ers team thats covered in their past 4 games.

Kind of a dull Friday slate, but i’m excited for Saturday games in all sports. I’ll be pretty heavy on the premier league. Have a good Friday and happy betting.

Thursday Picks

I’m looking for some games to bet on. Here’s what i’m leaning toward…

#23 Ohio State -6 (-105) vs Michigan State

Both teams struggling down the stretch, Ohio State at home will be the advantage. I’ve gone back and forth on this one, adding that Ohio State is 6-4 against the spread in the last 10 games compared to Michigan State’s 3-7, that’ll most likely be my deciding factor.

TCU +10.5 (-105) @ #6 Kansas

TCU upset Kansas on Tuesday winning 74-64 and they’ll carry that confidence over and keep it close. That being said a +410 TCU moneyline pick is also intriguing. They’ve proved they can win at home, so we’ll see if they can do it again in a hostile environment.

Iowa @ Michigan over 156 (+100)

When these two teams played February 17th the final score was 84-79 with Michigan winning the game. Michigan has score over 80 points the past couple games and Iowa doing the same the over seems to be the right choice since the game looks to be a toss up with Michigan being favored -2 at home.

I’ll hopefully be consistent in posting picks daily so if you come across this please give me a follow.

My top 5 favorite quarterbacks

If you’re here because you just saw “top 5 quarterbacks” and didn’t see “my favorite” then i’m sorry. But while you’re here you might as well stay and read. This isn’t a goat conversation, just who i as a football fan grew to love.

5. Donovan McNabb

One of the top quarterbacks to ever play at Syracuse University, if not the best. With Syracuse being my favorite college team he has to be on my list. Drafted number 2 overall in 1999 by the Eagles he had a pretty good career with them. Making it to five NFC championships and a Super Bowl appearance makes for a decent career. It also helps he could juke people out of their shoes. Unfortunately now anytime someone throws up on the football field Donovan McNabb’s name will always be brought up because of one of his more infamous moments. Shoutout to Campbells soup.

4. Kordell Stewart

His nickname is Slash. My reasoning could end right there. Slash was a partial reason i became a Steelers fan. I didn’t have a ton of influence in my life to find out who to root for, so seeing Kordell playing all over the field led me to be a fan of his. His overall stats aren’t the best with a rough td-int ratio, but he did what was asked of him wether it was playing quarterback, receiver, or running back. Even if he wasn’t playing quarterback the steelers still wanted him on the field and that says something.

3. Micheal Vick

Probably the most exciting quarterback to ever play the game. You just didn’t know what he was gonna do. Having a ridiculously strong arm and being faster than every person on the field, a big play was always waiting. Not to mention he was an absolute cheat code when using him on madden. He also might be the most controversial player on the list due to his off the field issues. He did spend 18 months in jail and lost all his endorsements. He has also become an activist against animal cruelty. That all has to count for something. Making a return as the most hated man in the NFL must have been difficult but he had some of his best years with the Eagles passing for over 3,000 yards for the first time in his career. He was always fun to watch and even better to use in madden.

2. Jay Cutler

I mean… its Jay Cutler. How do you not love him. A true gunslinger on the football field, and apparently pretty strong too. Reading over his wikipedia it mentions that he had 23 reps of 225lbs bench press. Not bad for a quarterback. I don’t really know why i liked him so much throughout his career. Maybe it was his potential that he never fully lived up to. If the Bears had a better offensive line i feel like they could have done a little more, but thats a big what if. Cant do much when your laying on your back. Now after making millions of dollars in the NFL he has the best clips that come from his wife’s reality t.v. show. His time on the shoe The League was pretty great too.

1. Ben Roethlisberger

The one Cleveland calls Daddy. Going 13-0 his rookie year, winning a super bowl in his second is incredible. Yes he didn’t have to do much on a team with a strong run game and a great defense, but he didn’t mess it up. Winning 2 super bowls and appearing in 3. With as much as he’s done, he still seems like one of the most under rated players in the game today. Yeah i’m a bit biased, but just look at his career stats. You’ll find him among the top ten in many categories. It’s hard to say where he’ll rank all time but it’s clear he’ll have a gold jacket. Of all the records he has racked up his best one may be against Cleveland. 23-2-1 and has the most wins of any quarterback in Clevelands stadium with 11. He is one of the best to ever do it and the best part is…… he’s throwing again.
